Materials Needed:
Mason Jars
Acrylic paint
Paint Brushes
Paint
Water
Paper towels

Step 1
Remove the lid from the jar, it will separate into to pieces: the rim and a flat top. (You do not need to keep the flat top depending on what you want to store in your jar.)
Step 2
Pick your main paint color and apply one coat to the outside of the jar.
Step 3
Allow the jar to dry, and repeat step 2 until the jar is covered with a solid finish.

Step 4
Allow the jar to dry. Once dried you can apply decoration to your jar if you desire. I left one jar solid white, and on the other I put a Kawaii face on it. If you do choose to add detail and decoration to your jar remember to let it dry in between paint applications.
Step 5
Once you are happy with how your jar looks and the rim of the lid, fill it up, and enjoy!
